Department of General Pathology

The students in this department receive basic and fundamental knowledge of the subject pathology to enable them to understand the medical and surgical procedure of dentistry as the famous scientist OSLER said, As is our Pathology, so WILL BE our Medicine and Surgery.
The department is well equipped with the necessary instrumentation and materials.The laboratory is equipped also with histoathology component, for routine histochemical stain and chemical haematological instrumentation.
The Department is guided by a Professor and One Associate Professor of MD DCP Qualification.
The department undertaken Biopsy analysis and has a good report among the surgeons in Bhimavaram Town and Narasapur.
The recent reports show that nearly 90% of the students have been successful.
The overall efficiency of the department is reflected in annual undergraduate success rates that has been consistently around 90%.
